It was another great night of racing with the gang over at Wolfpak Racing. We had another driver join our mix last night, one of Dragi's friends dropped by to test out the waters of slot car racing. For his first time out, he did a very good job.
The first three races was ran at a reduced power level, to allow better ca control for the new driver. Even at 10V, it was a fun couple of races.
Dean from Wolfpak Racing had a new controller for me to try out. It was a big improvement I feel over the last control I was using on this track. Although my times did decrease from the previous week(s), I feel if I can get in some more practice with this new controller, I should be able to improve my times over the next couple of outings.
Race 1
Race 2
Race 3
For the fourth and final race, the power level was returned to 12V.
Race 4
It was a great night of racing and I look forward to the next Saturday racing.

Saturday night racing over at the Wolfpak Garage
Saturday, April 16th, 2011
It was another fun night of racing. This Saturday night we had 4 drivers, my friends Dean and Dragi with Wolfpak racing, our friend Ed, and myself.
First Race: LMP Challenge
With getting more practice, being my second week racing on this track I feel my times and total laps have improved. Below is the race results from the first race.
Second Race: LMP
In the second race, Dean loaned me one of his X24's, it was the same car I race last week in the LMP race. I was getting used to this car, and with this one I feel I made a major improvement over last week. Also to give a shout-out to Dean, he made a new track record by completing 219 laps (geat job, even though it was short lived, see below). Below is the race results from race two:
Third Race: Nascar Nationwide
This was a fun race, once again I made good improvements with this class over last week. Below is the race results for this class:
Fourth Race: Nascar Sprint Cup
Dean won the first three races, but Ed denied him a shut-out over us by winning the last race of the night. Not only did Ed win this race, but he also set a new track record by completing 221 total laps, great job Ed. Below is the race results for this class:

Racing over at Wolfpak Racing
Saturday, April 9th, 2011
I was able to get over to Wolfpak Racings track, and get in some racing with my friend Dean and his soon Dragi. It was opening weekend for get new track, and the racing was fun. After some much needed practice, as this was my first time to see Wolfpak Racings new track, we got down to some racing.
We ended up getting in 4 races, it seemed that my times, and total laps kept improving as the night progressed. This was a fun little track to race on.

Nascar Racing down at Downforce Hobbies
Wednesday, March 2, 2011
Tonight I headed down to Downforce Hobbies in Mesa, they are starting to run Nascar Style body racing on the big track on Wednesday evenings. Since this was my first time racing on this track I showed up a little early and got some practice time in. After some help with replacing my gears from Downforce on my car, I was able to keep on the track with improved lap times.
My friend Dean from over at Wolfpack Racing showed up to also run the Nascar event. In the picture above, my car is the one in the center, yellow with orange trim, and Dean's car is blue car on the right. They ran two classes, Pro and Non-Pro, Dean and myself were entered into the Non-Pro division with one other racer, and there was three Pro division drivers. Overall I placed second in my class and fifth overall, Dean placed first, and also placed third overall beating one of the Pro drivers.
I think I will enjoy racing this class, and with a lot more practice and getting some more races under my belt I believe I will be winning a few of these events in the future.
